I feel guilty about eating meat?

I recently saw a video called "If Slaughterhouses had Gl Walls..." and it showed me how cruel the meat industry is to animals. I know that animals must be killed to obtain meat, but I never knew how much animal really suffered until i saw this video. I haven't been able to eat meat without feeling guilty, and today I couldn't eat it at all. I was feeling sickened by the fact that i was eating a creature that endured a lifetime of bloody gory suffering. Is the whole meat industry this cruel? Should i go vegetarian?
