Medical issue or pregnancy?

I skipped my period and went to the doctor's and my test was negative, he gave me some pills to take to bring my period on, but it did nothing. Went back to the doctor and took another test and it was positive. Doctor had to perform an abortion because the pills he gave me to bring on my period had a 99.9% chance of having a deformed baby.
