With a two party system, is the presidency one of the most difficult jobs in politics?

No matter what decision a president makes, whether it be George w. Bush or Obama, someone is going to get pissed. It must be tough for the president knowing that you cannot make a move without someone lashing out and calling you the Antichrist.
